Maglio is committed to finding alternative energy sources to power our facilities. In 2018, we installed over 1100 solar panels on the roof of our Glendale, Wisconsin facility. This array is expected to produce an estimated 477,000 kilowatts hours of sustainable electricity every year and is the equivalent annual energy usage of 58 average Wisconsin homes.
The power produced will offset over 35% of Maglio Companies’ annual electrical consumption. Electricity produced will feed directly into Maglio’s electrical distribution system and excess power produced — such as on holidays and weekends — will flow back to the grid and be used to power homes in the community.
