Good morning Maglio Markets In A Minute fam. It is good to see you this Wednesday morning. Coming at you today, live from the rooftop of Maglio McAllen, because realistically I mean, come on look, like are you kidding me right now? It’s a golden day down here in the RGV, Rio Grande Valley, for all of you non-rg veers, rgvrs, Rio Granders ballers, you know what I’m saying. Welcome back, nice to have you, episode 10, big day for Maglio Markets In A Minute, 10 episodes deep. Here in November, November 4th, shout out Jamie Lang from Milwaukee, happy birthday, hope you have a fantastic day, we miss you, hope to see you soon. Of course, also November, the beginnings of no shave November. So that will be something fun we might spin-off at the end of November for you viewers to vote on what I should shave my beard, at the time, into, something fun, mustache, you know chops, whatever, it’s going to be. Maybe I’ll have a vote on it. There is something that the people enjoy seeing, typically, but maybe we’ll, maybe we’ll have some viewer input. More to come, but yep, still, here in South Texas, things are moving, this season’s picking up there’s a lot going on down here, obviously, you know palm trees, city of palms, fun fact for you McAllen, city of palms. Wow, I’m peaking early in this video but market updates, something’s moving, still pretty quiet, let’s jump right into it. I don’t know where May, where are you going to put that camera? Right, can you do it in the sky? A sky cam, is that a thing that means I’ve got to stand still? Everyone knows that is not historically my specialty but we’ll do that. Maybe I’ll turn a little bit so it’s not like I’m like Harvey Dent, two-face, okay May Manski, market update, ready, set, let’s roll. Tomatoes this week California is done, you have not much out there, you’ve got some people shipping out what’s left in their coolers, realistically it’s not very much. Everyone else now over into Florida production market coming down a little bit on rounds, going up a little bit on Roma’s, grapes are still pretty steady, but coming down a little bit, cherries are more available out of Florida, but not out of Mexico. What is available out of Mexico, the usuals, you’ve got your squashes, you’ve got yellow zucchini. You’ve got cucumbers, going on at the same time, market creeping up a little bit because there’s slightly more demand but still for the beginnings of their season relatively cheap. Also down here in McAllen you’ve got limes creeping up just a little, people getting a little bit excited for the end of the year, the big push for limes is it going to happen? Not sure, a couple of dollars. Not much out west, you’ve got the transition still happening, so over the course of the next three weeks, you’re going to have transitioned from Salinas, down to Huron, down to Yuma, as a result of that a lot of markets kind of all over the place. Things will start ticking up in general in price. Broccoli, cauliflower, celery, don’t get too crazy about it even though Thanksgiving is coming up, I wouldn’t think the markets get above anything too normal for this time of year. Otherwise, peppers finally coming down, Mexico is starting to pick some for the first time but the most exciting thing, unfortunately, is rambutan in Central America getting hit by hurricane Ita. As a result rambutan market going way up, cause we all know you love your rambutan and stop. May were you able to get that up there? I hope so, I was all over the place, I get so excited, it’s just, it just produces man, it lights us up, we can’t stop. We’re very excited about it, we’re excited in general but thank you everyone for being a part of this. I hope you’re enjoying the videos as much as we’re enjoying making them. I use the phrase “we’re” very loosely in that sense. it is just me there. is no one else up here on this roof. and yes they’ve been feeding me a whole bunch of tortillas. but the camera does add 30 pounds. That’s it for today, I hope everyone has a fantastic rest of the week, if you have any questions, anything you want to talk produce, you wanna talk about markets, want to know what I’m doing on the weekends in South Texas, hit us up 414-906-8800. PJ at maglioproduce.com, in the DMS, we’re ready for you, we love to talk about produce markets, anything, let us know. Again, thank you for the viewership, we appreciate it, love making these videos for you even if it’s just a boast or beautiful, come on focus camera iPhone you got this, you can do it, you could, oh that’s what we call the money shot, but have a great rest of your day, great rest of your week and as always here at Maglio Markets In A Minute, we’ll catch you later.
