So, episode three, let’s get into the markets, I always get long-winded because you know why not, it’s produce, it’s Wednesday, to get after it, alright so markets going on. You got the clock here, dude were you able to find it, I know I moved it on you, I was here, I was here, now I’m here, I was there, you’re fine, you should put it up there. All right so one minute on the clock May Manski, please and thank you very much. I liked, by the way, we needed overtime last week, I don’t watch these, I never see this until it goes live, so any nonsense that I say, I find out life with you guys on Wednesday mornings. Well done on the overtime, that was slick, May Mansky on the camera everybody, where’d you go, May Manske? So as we were over here, so we got it coming up, so markets in three, two, ready set let’s roll. Tomatoes going up, even more, this week, so that heat in California knocking some stuff out, as a result, you’re having bigger fruit get more expensive, we’re talking $13.95 all the way down to $11.95 for smaller on 5×6, all the way down to 6×7 rounds, on tomatoes in California. Besides that, green peppers are really the action this week so choose green peppers, with the local programs getting hit with a lot of rain, Mexico kind of drying up for their summer season, we’re seeing higher prices on green peppers in all sizes once you get above $20 on choice hold onto your seats, it’s getting crayfish fillet. Moving back over to California the veg situation, so your lettuces are burning up as we talked about last week with the fires, the ash is not a fun situation. You see markets go way up, a lot of price sheets saying call on them. Same on the citrus side of things, citrus getting more expensive on the oranges, plus USDA boxes eat up a lot of the supply so that’s all going on. Besides that, the market’s relatively flat, not too much going on. Cucumbers are a little bit exciting, a little movement there, but not enough demand to really push up that far. Ready break, close. I like the way I cut it off real aggressively there. It really keeps you on the edge of your seat, so yeah those are the markets, the quick hits, questions, comments, concerns, where will I be next week, comment below.
